How to choose compatible toner for your printer
To choose compatible toner without mistakes, start with the printer’s exact model, then confirm the cartridge reference, colour and page yield. The product range alone is not enough: similar printers can use different cartridges.
Choose the right toner in 5 steps
Find the printer’s complete model number
Check the brand and exact reference on the front, rear label or device settings. Include every letter and number shown after the model name.
Check the current cartridge reference
Remove the cartridge if needed and read the reference printed on its label. This is the most reliable check when a printer accepts several capacities.
Confirm the printing technology
A laser printer uses powdered toner. An inkjet printer uses liquid ink cartridges. These supplies are not interchangeable.
Choose the colour and page yield
Check black, cyan, magenta or yellow, then compare the stated page yield. A high-capacity option is generally better suited to regular print volumes.
Validate compatibility before ordering
The product page should list your exact printer model or the reference you searched for. If in doubt, contact FlashToner before ordering.
